Raffle prizes for community groups

We are sure that many people don’t know about this, but did you know that we support local community groups every month by donating raffle prizes to them? We have a small budget of £20 per month which allows us to donate an October Books token to local causes. The group can then earn a little extra income from the sale of raffle tickets and we hopefully get a new customer through the door.

This months organisation is the Friends of Southampton Youth Orchestras in support of their 'Pyramid' Concert, on Saturday 3 February 2024. We know that youth orchestras give young people in Southampton a fantastic opportunity to learn and progress in their musical education and the 'Pyramid' Concert showcases all the orchestras in the area and is held at the Central Hall each year. The Friends of SYO provide additional support to the musicians, keeping music learning accessible to all, so well worth supporting.
