Below is a live calendar that you can use to book whichever space you would like at whatever time. If you are unsure on the space you need, below the calendar is a breakdown of what each of our lovely rooms has to offer. An Affordable Community Space for Hire in Southampton

Our Community Space is available to hire seven days a week, daytime and evenings.

Community groups, societies, local businesses and individuals are welcome to hire the spaces for a range of purposes including:

• meetings

• events

• classes

• therapeutic sessions

• 121 sessions

• or just a quiet space to work

Freelancers are welcome to book as a group and create a pop up co-work space.

Rates are set to be affordable for our community and fair to us.

Rates during shop opening times are lower than outside shop opening times, as staff are already on site. Opening the building out of hours means we need to cover extra staffing costs.

Sunday rates are by discussion.

With five different options, this flexible space in the heart of Portswood highstreet is suited to all. Socially distanced capacities are dependent on the layout of the room, but approximates are listed below.

• Small area of community space - up to 10 people

• Large area of community space - up to 30 people

• Whole area of community space - up to 50 people

• Shop floor – up to 30 people

Basic Terms and Conditions of use of Community Space

• Hires will only be confirmed on the production of a Risk Assessment and signed agreement from the hirer.

• All hire periods are to include set up and clear up time.

• Please leave the space as you find it.

• We reserve the right to refuse bookings.

• Payment can be made by cash/card/cheque and must be in advance of the use of the space.

• Cancellations: If you cancel your booking within 21 days of hire, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the booking. If it is less than 10 days notice, we will charge you 100% of the booking fee unless there are exceptional circumstances, please contact us if this applies. If you reschedule your booking, there will be no cancellation fee.  If the rescheduled booking is cancelled before 21 days of the hire, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the booking and the cancellation fee will be 100% of the booking after that date.

• Children are to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• Well behaved pets welcome.
