Role: Book buyer and anything else that needs doing!

Your OB Story: I was a customer at October Books for a while and eventually became so intensely infatuated with the place, infatuated in almost exactly the character that a moth bumps against tiny kerosene lamps, that I had to graduate from customer to volunteer, which I did. I was a volunteer for several months which was really enjoyable. The team is so kind to the volunteers, they treated me like a frail animal. I then joined the team as a member of staff in February 2024 and have loved it so far and am always smiling.

Passionate About: Literature and books and stuff. I have loved books since day one and I have always been reading.

Recommends: I would recommend a book called 2666 by Roberto Bolaño. Roberto Bolaño is a very good writer. This is his best book and I think it is the best piece of Spanish literature of the 21st century.
