From What If? to What next……

From What If? to What next……

Are you feeling like you need some inspiration and direction as to what happens next as spring starts to take hold? This year as we emerge from the blanket of winter its not surprising if we are feeling a little lost and uncertain about the future. The amazing From What is to What If book by Rob Hopkins of the Transition Movement provides oodles of stories of people and communities all around the world who are and have been doing things differently, building fairer and more just societies and considering people, place and planet in all that they do. Read with friends and unleash your collective creative imagination. The book is now available in paperback at £10.99 and we would thoroughly recommend to all.

In addition to the book, the Transition network are currently running the ‘What Next Summit’, a space to empower us to create our own future, tap into our imagination, make new connections and share knowledge. Loads of talks, workshops and interactive sessions, most available online through Youtube. If you are inspired and want to check in with your local Transition group do drop them a line at chair@transitionsouthampton.org

We’ll also be talking about some of the ideas behind the book at our next MushRoom event on 30th March. See Eventbrite for more details and to book your place.
