children's storytelling: A Perfect Day On Daisy Farm by Sue Locke

Saturday 4th September

in the shop - from 2pm - children's storytelling - free entry

Please register here via Eventbrite if you wish to attend so we can manage numbers on the shop floor.

Join Sue Locke in the shop for storytelling, colouring in and crafting for children aged up to 5 years.

Sue will be reading her book ‘A Perfect Day On Daisy Farm’ - and sharing the fun filled life & adventures of a young calf called Soomoo who arrives on Daisy Farm. Join in as everyone on Daisy Farm gets together to make the long awaited special event such a Perfect Day! Young or old you’re sure to smile.

Sue lives in a small village in Hampshire and this is her first book. Having no formal training in writing books or in art, she took the plunge during lockdown to create this charming book. All the illustrations are traditionally hand drawn using pencil, fibre tip pen, wax crayon and colour pencil, and it has been printed locally with the aid of the World Land Trust who produce carbon balanced publications.

Register via Eventbrite for entry to this event so we can manage social distancing on the shop floor. This is a free entry event, but if you'd like to sling October Books a donation, please do.

If you’d like to reserve a copy of ‘A Perfect Day On Daisy Farm’ to collect on the day, email us at info@octoberbooks.org
