Art Exhibition Launch - Baskets from recycled materials

Join us on Friday 22nd March, 4.30pm, for the launch of this fantastic exhibition by Barbro Fitzjohn, a local artist who trained as a weaver and now makes baskets from recycled materials. She takes her inspiration from cultures around the world and from historical findings going back thousands of years to the time when hunters and gatherers made their baskets from grasses and bark.

Barbro’s basket weaving workshop this month has now sold out, so don’t miss out on seeing her wonderful baskets on display.
