The Nettle Dress film screening

Dead Good Days are supporting this screening of The Nettle Dress at October Books as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week. Their aim is to encourage people to be more open about the topic of death, dying and loss.

This gentle documentary takes us through Allan's quest to painstakingly make the dress himself, following the death of his wife - from picking the nettles, spinning, weaving, cutting and sewing to the finished article. Perhaps a time to think and talk about our own bereavements - what's helped us, and what could help us, manage this time as best we can?

Hot drinks will be available on the night.
