Going plastic free this month...?

This month lots of you are beginning your plastic-free journey by signing up for Plastic Free July! And we think that’s just fab. Their website has lots of great resources and recommendations, make sure you check it out.

If you’ve hit a stumbling block, or perhaps would simply like to make some changes to your usual weekly shop, we might be able to help you with that! We stock a bunch of plastic-free household items every month of the year to enable you to make that change, to make the world a better place.

Choose from…

  • Who Gives A Crap toilet rolls. They donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world? Can’t say fairer that that!

  • Keep Cup and ECoffee reusable coffee cups (made from corn stalk and bamboo sourced from up cycled materials)

  • Loof co washing up pad (100% biodegradable alternative to plastic washing-up sponges)

  • Loof co washing up scraper (100% biodegradable alternative to plastic washing-up sponges)

  • Green Frog Botanic soapnuts for laundry (you can safely compost these after use!)

  • Faith In Nature naked soaps in various flavours including fragrance free.

  • BioD Laundry Bleach

  • Ethico bamboo toothbrushes (plastic bristles that can be snapped off)

  • Organic Shade All Natural Sunscreen (100% natural ingredients, no micro-plastics!)

Add something plastic-free to your order - don’t forget if you mark an item as ‘food bank’ on your order, we’ll drop it into Basics Banks for you!

If there’s something plastic-free you think we should stock, we’d love a recommendation. Drop us an email.

Did you know we only order our household items from ethical suppliers? Many of them are coops, all of them are wonderful! You can see a list of these lovely people here.
