Volunteering at October Books
October Books is a not-for-profit co-operative, with a strong emphasis on ethics. As well as having full-time paid workers, we also rely on part-time unpaid volunteers. We're a small independent shop up against the bigger bookselling chains, and without help from volunteers, we wouldn't be able to make ends meet. Tasks could include anything, from using your computer skills to putting together a book catalogue, to assisting with administrative tasks. The jobs you will do will depend on your skills and experience. Some work could be done at home. Benefits of volunteering
