We have been raising funds to buy the Natwest Bank building on Portswood road to act as a new premises for the shop and as a community hub. This new venture will help to secure the long-term future of the shop and it will be amazing for you all to support us in this venture. We have been running a Loanstock Issue from 9th March to 31st May 2018.

Through loanstock and donations, we have secured 80% of our funding goal. The purchase of the building can take place, but we still require funds for refurbishment, fees and moving costs. We will be extending our Loanstock Issue for at least until the end of June 2018.

The Loanstock offer documents can be downloaded and completed and returned to us at the shop or to info@octoberbooks.org with LOANSTOCK in the subject line.

The documents contain information about loanstock, our current financial position and some information on long-term business and financial plans. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further information.
