This year we are spoiling you rotten with TWO Halloween Events.
Local children’s author Veronica Cossanteli, will be reading from her books and introducing you to some of her ‘creepy’ creatures!
Come meet Nando the bearded dragon, Thisbe the corn snake, Cecil the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, Myfanwy the giant millipede and Marilyn the tarantula!
Event is recommended for children between 7-11. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets £3 per child. Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day at October Books. Please note space is limitted. It will be first come, first served so please don’t arrive too late on the day if you haven’t already got tickets.
Hampshire Halloween, Local Ghost Tales for the Dark Season. 31st October 7.30pm
Michael O’Leary, Hagstone Storyteller and local author aims to scare. Aimed at adults, these stories are not for those who are easily frightened. Halloween isn’t just for children!
Michael O’Leary is an experienced story teller and performer who uses instruments and sound to draw you into his local tales. As well as performing, Michael O’Leary is also an author having writen ‘Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Ghost Tales,’ ‘Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Folk Tales’ and ‘Hampshire Folk Tales for Children.’ Books will be available for sale at the event and Michael will be happy to sign your copy after scaring you silly!
